This research project aims to assess the current state of waste management practices in urban areas, focusing on a specific case study to provide valuable insights into effective strategies for sustainable waste management. The case study selected for this research is a densely populated urban area facing significant waste management issues. Chapter One of the study provides an introduction to the research topic, offering background information on the importance of sustainable waste management practices in urban areas. The problem statement highlights the challenges and issues faced in current waste management systems, emphasizing the need for sustainable solutions. The objectives of the study are outlined to guide the research process, while the limitations and scope of the study provide a framework for understanding the research boundaries.
