In response, green infrastructure has emerged as a promising approach to conserve biodiversity within urban environments. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of green infrastructure in urban areas for biodiversity conservation. The study will utilize a mixed-methods approach to investigate various green infrastructure interventions and their impact on biodiversity. The research will begin with a comprehensive literature review to examine existing studies on green infrastructure and its role in biodiversity conservation. This review will highlight the importance of green spaces, such as parks, green roofs, and urban forests, in supporting diverse flora and fauna in urban settings. The literature review will also explore the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing green infrastructure for biodiversity conservation. Following the literature review, the research will proceed to the methodology section, which will outline the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques. The study will involve field surveys, biodiversity assessments, and interviews with key stakeholders to gather data on the effectiveness of different green infrastructure projects in supporting urban biodiversity.
