This research project aims to assess sustainable waste management practices in urban areas through a comprehensive case study approach. The study focuses on analyzing current waste management strategies, identifying challenges, and exploring opportunities for improvement in urban waste management systems. The research methodology involves a combination of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, and site observations. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the study. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review covering ten essential aspects related to sustainable waste management practices in urban areas. This review synthesizes existing research and theoretical frameworks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the methodology.
