This research project aims to assess the effectiveness of sustainable waste management practices in urban areas, focusing on strategies to minimize waste generation, promote recycling and reuse, and reduce environmental impacts. The study will investigate current waste management practices, challenges faced by urban authorities, and opportunities for improvement to achieve sustainable waste management. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of existing literature on waste management practices in urban areas, highlighting key strategies and initiatives that have been successful in promoting sustainability. The study will then conduct interviews and surveys with stakeholders involved in waste management, including local authorities, waste management companies, and community members, to gather data on current practices, challenges, and opportunities. The methodology chapter will outline the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques used in the study. It will also discuss the limitations of the research and steps taken to ensure the reliability and validity of the findings.
