Climate change is a global environmental challenge that poses significant threats to freshwater resources management. This research project seeks to assess the impact of climate change on freshwater resources management, focusing on the implications for both the quality and quantity of water available for various uses. The study adopts a multi-dimensional approach, incorporating scientific data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and case studies to provide a comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand. Chapter One introduces the research by outlining the background of the study, presenting the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two undertakes a thorough literature review, analyzing existing research on climate change impacts on freshwater resources, water quality management strategies, and adaptive measures employed globally. Chapter Three details the research methodology encompassing research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, limitations, and validity and reliability assessments. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, discussing the observed impacts of climate change on freshwater resources management, challenges faced by stakeholders, successful adaptation strategies, and emerging trends in water resource management.
