Project Abstract

The project aims to develop comprehensive and innovative strategies for sustainable waste management in urban areas, addressing the pressing environmental and societal challenges posed by the increasing generation of municipal solid waste. As populations continue to grow and urbanization accelerates, the need for effective and sustainable waste management solutions has become a critical issue for cities worldwide. The project recognizes that traditional waste management approaches, which often rely heavily on landfilling and incineration, are no longer viable in the long term.
