Project Abstract

The project aims to address the critical challenge faced by social enterprises in maintaining long-term financial sustainability while pursuing their social impact goals. Social enterprises, organizations that combine commercial strategies with a mission to address social and environmental issues, often struggle to balance the often-conflicting demands of profitability and social responsibility. This project seeks to develop a comprehensive and adaptable business model that can help social enterprises achieve financial stability and scale their positive impact. The importance of this project lies in the growing recognition of the role social enterprises can play in addressing pressing global challenges, from poverty alleviation to environmental conservation. These organizations leverage market-based approaches to deliver innovative solutions that create value for both shareholders and stakeholders. However, the lack of a well-defined and sustainable business model has hindered the growth and long-term viability of many social enterprises. This project aims to address this gap by providing a framework that can guide social enterprises in developing financially viable and socially impactful operating models.
