This research project delves into the intricate and nuanced portrayal of mental illness in 20th Century African Literature. The study aims to analyze various literary works from the 20th Century that explore themes related to mental illness, shedding light on how African writers have depicted and addressed these complex issues in their narratives. The introduction sets the stage by providing a comprehensive overview of the research topic, outlining the significance and relevance of studying the representation of mental illness in African Literature.
