Abstract
This research study investigates the impact of technology integration on student learning in Economics education. The overarching goal is to explore how the utilization of technology tools and resources can enhance student engagement, comprehension, and overall academic performance in the field of Economics. The study aims to address the growing importance of incorporating technology in education and its potential benefits for student learning outcomes. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of student performance data with qualitative insights gathered through surveys, interviews, and classroom observations. The sample population consists of Economics students at the undergraduate level, drawn from multiple educational institutions to ensure a diverse representation of backgrounds and experiences. Chapter 1 provides the foundational framework for the study, including the introduction, background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key themes related to technology integration in education, student engagement, learning outcomes, and the role of technology in Economics education. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The chapter also discusses the selection criteria for technology tools and resources used in the study to ensure relevance and effectiveness in enhancing student learning experiences. In Chapter 4, the findings of the study are presented and discussed in detail, focusing on seven key areas identified through data analysis. These findings shed light on the impact of technology integration on student engagement, comprehension, and academic performance in Economics education, providing valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders in the field of education. Chapter 5 concludes the research study by summarizing the key findings, implications, and recommendations for future research and practice. The study highlights the potential of technology integration to transform Economics education, enhance student learning experiences, and improve overall academic outcomes.
