Abstract
This research study investigates the impact of financial literacy education on the economic decision-making skills of college students. In recent years, the importance of financial literacy has gained significant attention as individuals are faced with complex financial decisions throughout their lives. College students represent a crucial demographic to study, as they are transitioning into adulthood and will soon be responsible for managing their own finances. The research aims to explore how financial literacy education influences the economic decision-making skills of college students and to provide insights into the effectiveness of such educational programs. The study will be guided by a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. A sample of college students will be selected to participate in surveys and interviews to gather data on their financial literacy levels, economic decision-making skills, and perceptions of financial education programs. Additionally, secondary data sources such as academic journals, reports, and relevant publications will be analyzed to provide a comprehensive literature review on the topic. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on financial literacy education and its impact on economic decision-making skills, particularly among college students. By understanding the factors that influence financial decision-making and the effectiveness of financial education programs, policymakers, educators, and stakeholders can develop strategies to enhance financial literacy among young adults.
