Income inequality remains a pressing issue in developing countries, with policymakers seeking effective strategies to address this challenge. One such strategy is the implementation of minimum wage policies, aimed at improving the income distribution among workers. This research project delves into the analysis of the impact of minimum wage policies on income inequality in developing countries. The study focuses on examining the effectiveness of minimum wage regulations in reducing income inequality, considering various factors such as economic growth, labor market dynamics, and social welfare implications. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, offering background information on income inequality, the rationale for minimum wage policies, and the problem statement that guides the study. The chapter outlines the objectives of the research, the limitations, and the scope of the study, emphasizing the significance of exploring the impact of minimum wage policies on income distribution in developing countries.
