This research study explores the profound impact of social media on language use and communication patterns among young adults. The pervasive influence of social media platforms on daily communication practices has become increasingly significant, particularly among the younger generation. This study aims to investigate the ways in which social media platforms shape language use and communication behaviors among young adults, focusing on the implications for interpersonal interactions, identity construction, and societal norms. The research begins with an examination of the theoretical framework that underpins the relationship between social media and language use, drawing on sociolinguistic and communication theories to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. A review of existing literature in the field offers insights into previous studies and findings related to the impact of social media on language use and communication patterns among young adults.
