This research study aims to explore the impact of social media on language evolution and communication patterns, analyzing how these platforms have reshaped the way individuals communicate and interact with one another. The study delves into the various aspects of social media usage, including the use of emojis, acronyms, and abbreviations, as well as the influence of social media on linguistic norms and conventions. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, offering a background of the study and outlining the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review, exploring ten key studies and theories related to social media, language evolution, and communication patterns. Chapter 3 details the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations and limitations of the research process.
