This research project aims to analyze the impact of social media on language evolution, exploring how online communication shapes linguistic trends and practices. Chapter 1 introduces the study by providing an overview of the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, stating the problem statement, outlining the objectives, discussing limitations and scope, emphasizing the significance of the study, presenting the structure of the research, and defining key terms. This chapter sets the foundation for understanding the relationship between social media and language evolution. Chapter 2 comprises a comprehensive literature review that examines existing research on social media and language evolution. The review covers ten key themes, including the influence of social media on language change, linguistic innovations in online communication, the role of social media platforms in language dissemination, and the impact of digital communication on language diversity.
