This research project aims to delve into the phenomenon of gender bias in online communication platforms, exploring the various forms it takes, its underlying causes, and its implications for individuals and society at large. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, defining the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, and the structure of the research. It also includes definitions of key terms to be used throughout the research.
