Employee job satisfaction is a critical factor that significantly impacts organizational performance and success, particularly in the highly competitive retail industry. This research project aims to analyze the various factors that influence employee job satisfaction within the retail sector, focusing on understanding the key determinants and their implications for organizational effectiveness. The study employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data from employees working in different retail organizations. The introduction provides an overview of the importance of employee job satisfaction in the retail industry and sets the context for the research study. It highlights the significance of understanding and addressing the factors that contribute to employee job satisfaction to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational performance. The literature review chapter critically examines existing research and theories related to employee job satisfaction, organizational behavior, and human resource management within the context of the retail industry. Ten key themes are explored, including organizational culture, leadership styles, work environment, compensation and benefits, career development opportunities, work-life balance, job security, communication channels, employee recognition, and employee empowerment. The research methodology chapter outlines the research design, sampling strategy, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques employed in the study.
