This research project focuses on investigating the implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to enhance operational efficiency and achieve cost reduction. The adoption of Lean Six Sigma methodologies has gained significant attention in the business world due to its proven effectiveness in improving processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall organizational performance. However, while many large corporations have successfully implemented Lean Six Sigma, its application in SMEs remains relatively underexplored. The research aims to address this gap by studying how SMEs can effectively implement Lean Six Sigma to streamline their operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce costs. By conducting a thorough literature review, the study will first establish a theoretical framework by examining existing research on Lean Six Sigma, its principles, tools, and techniques, as well as its benefits and challenges in different organizational contexts.
