This research project focuses on the implementation of sustainable supply chain practices in a small business setting through a case study approach. The significance of sustainable supply chain management has gained attention in recent years due to its potential to improve environmental, social, and economic outcomes. Small businesses play a crucial role in the economy, and by adopting sustainable practices, they can contribute to achieving sustainability goals while enhancing their own competitiveness and resilience. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definition of key terms. The literature review in Chapter 2 examines ten key themes related to sustainable supply chain practices, including green procurement, reverse logistics, carbon footprint reduction, and stakeholder engagement. Chapter 3 details the research methodology, covering the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the research methodology. The case study approach is employed to investigate how a small business can effectively implement sustainable supply chain practices. In Chapter 4, the findings of the case study are discussed in detail, focusing on the challenges faced, strategies implemented, outcomes achieved, and lessons learned. The chapter explores the impact of sustainable practices on the business operations, supply chain performance, stakeholder relationships, and overall sustainability performance.
