Climate change poses a significant threat to global biodiversity, particularly in sensitive ecosystems such as tropical rainforests. This research project aims to investigate the effects of climate change on plant diversity in a tropical rainforest ecosystem. The study will focus on understanding how changes in temperature, precipitation patterns, and other climatic factors impact the abundance and distribution of plant species within the ecosystem. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to climate change, plant diversity, and tropical rainforest ecosystems. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The chapter also discusses the selection criteria for study sites and the rationale behind the chosen methodologies.
