Abstract
The study on "Exploring the Medicinal Properties of Native Plants in a Specific Region" aims to investigate the potential therapeutic benefits of indigenous plants in a designated geographical area. This research project delves into the rich biodiversity of native flora and their traditional uses for medicinal purposes. The specific region chosen for this study is known for its diverse plant species and the long-standing cultural practices associated with herbal remedies. Through a combination of field surveys, botanical identification, chemical analysis, and ethnobotanical interviews, the research seeks to uncover the bioactive compounds present in these plants and explore their pharmacological properties. Chapter one of the study provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study area, the problem statement regarding the underutilization of native plant resources, the objectives of the research, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter two consists of a comprehensive literature review that examines existing studies on the medicinal properties of native plants, highlighting their historical uses, phytochemical composition, and potential health benefits. This section aims to contextualize the current research within the broader scientific and cultural knowledge of traditional herbal medicine.
