This research aims to analyze the impact of climate change on plant biodiversity in a tropical rainforest ecosystem by assessing changes in species composition, distribution, and abundance. The study focuses on understanding how rising temperatures, altered precipitation patterns, and other climate-related factors influence plant species diversity and ecosystem dynamics. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two consists of a comprehensive literature review that examines existing studies on the effects of climate change on plant biodiversity in tropical rainforest ecosystems, highlighting key findings and gaps in knowledge.
