This research project aims to investigate the role of visual aids in promoting understanding of biological processes. Visual aids, such as diagrams, illustrations, and animations, can enhance students' comprehension of complex biological concepts by providing visual representations that facilitate mental imagery and conceptualization. This study will involve a sample of undergraduate biology students who will be exposed to different types of visual aids during their biology lectures. Pre- and post-tests will be administered to assess changes in students' understanding of biological processes, and their perceptions of the visual aids will be collected through surveys and focus group discussions. The findings of this study will contribute to our understanding of the effectiveness of visual aids in biology education.
