This research project aims to assess the effectiveness of multimedia simulations in teaching cellular respiration. Cellular respiration is a complex biological process that can be challenging for students to understand. Multimedia simulations provide interactive and visual representations of cellular respiration, allowing students to explore the process in a dynamic and engaging manner. This study will involve a sample of high school biology students who will be randomly assigned to either a control group receiving traditional instruction or an experimental group using multimedia simulations. Pre- and post-tests will be administered to assess students' understanding of cellular respiration, and their perceptions of the instructional methods will be collected through surveys and interviews. The findings of this study will contribute to our understanding of the potential benefits of multimedia simulations in biology education.
