Green building design has gained significant attention in recent years as the need for sustainable practices in urban environments becomes increasingly urgent. This research project focuses on exploring the implementation of green building design principles to enhance sustainability in urban settings. The study aims to investigate the various strategies and technologies that can be utilized to create environmentally friendly buildings that contribute to the overall well-being of urban communities. The research is structured into five main chapters. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to green building design and sustainable practices in urban environments. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations. The chapter also discusses the theoretical framework guiding the study and justifies the chosen methodology for investigating the research questions. In Chapter 4, the findings of the research are presented and discussed in detail. The chapter includes seven key items that highlight the implications of implementing green building design practices in urban environments. The discussion delves into the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable building practices and provides recommendations for future research and practical applications. Finally, Chapter 5 offers a conclusion and summary of the project research.
