This research project aims to explore the application of sustainable design principles in urban housing developments, with a focus on enhancing the overall sustainability and livability of urban communities. The study will investigate various aspects of sustainable design, including energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, and the use of environmentally friendly materials. The research will begin with a comprehensive literature review to establish the current state of knowledge on sustainable design principles in urban housing developments. This review will cover key concepts, theories, and best practices in sustainable architecture, as well as case studies of successful sustainable urban housing projects from around the world. The methodology for this research will involve a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, including surveys, interviews, and site visits to urban housing developments. Data collection will focus on gathering information on the design features, construction methods, and environmental performance of selected sustainable housing projects.
