Urban areas worldwide are faced with the challenge of preserving their industrial heritage while adapting to the evolving needs of modern society. This research project focuses on the concept of urban regeneration through the adaptive reuse of industrial heritage buildings as a sustainable and culturally significant approach to urban development. The study explores the potential benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with repurposing these historic structures for new uses, such as residential, commercial, cultural, and recreational spaces. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction that establishes the background of the study, defines the problem statement, outlines the objectives, discusses the limitations and scope of the study, highlights its significance, and presents the structure of the research. A detailed literature review in Chapter Two examines existing scholarship on urban regeneration, adaptive reuse, industrial heritage preservation, and related topics. The review identifies key themes, trends, case studies, and theoretical frameworks that inform the research methodology. Chapter Three provides an in-depth analysis of the research methodology, including the selection of research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The chapter also describes the research setting, participants, and data sources, as well as the tools and techniques used to analyze the findings. Chapter Four presents a detailed discussion of the research findings, organized into seven key themes.
