The relationship between archaeological sites and tourism development has garnered increasing attention in recent years. This study explores the impact of archaeological sites on tourism development in a specific region, aiming to provide insights into how these historical sites contribute to the growth of tourism in the area. The research methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with stakeholders in the tourism and archaeological sectors, as well as quantitative analysis of tourist data and site visitation rates. Chapter One introduces the research, providing background information on the significance of archaeological sites in tourism development. The problem statement highlights the need to understand the specific impact of these sites on tourism growth. The objectives of the study are outlined, along with the limitations and scope of the research.
