The relationship between archaeological sites and sustainable tourism development has gained significant attention in recent years due to the increasing recognition of the cultural and economic value of heritage tourism. This research project aims to explore the complex interplay between archaeological sites and sustainable tourism development, with a focus on understanding the challenges and opportunities that arise in managing and promoting these heritage sites for tourism purposes. The research begins with an introduction that provides background information on the significance of archaeological sites in the context of tourism development. The problem statement highlights the key issues surrounding the conservation and management of archaeological sites for sustainable tourism, including issues related to visitor impacts, infrastructure development, and community involvement. The objectives of the study are to assess the current state of archaeological site management and tourism development, identify best practices for promoting sustainable tourism at archaeological sites, and propose recommendations for enhancing the relationship between archaeology and tourism.
