This research investigates the role of archaeological sites in fostering sustainable tourism development, focusing on their significance, challenges, and opportunities. The study aims to provide insights into how archaeological sites can be effectively managed and leveraged to support sustainable tourism practices while preserving cultural heritage. The research begins with an exploration of the background of the study, highlighting the growing importance of sustainable tourism and the value of archaeological sites as key attractions for tourists. The problem statement identifies the need to balance tourism development with heritage preservation at archaeological sites, addressing issues such as over-tourism, conservation, and community involvement. The objectives of the study are to analyze the impact of tourism on archaeological sites, identify best practices for sustainable management, and propose strategies for enhancing the tourism potential of these sites.
