Abstract
This research study aims to investigate the impact of archaeological discoveries on tourism development in a selected region. The relationship between archaeology and tourism has gained increasing attention in recent years, as archaeological sites have become popular tourist attractions worldwide. The main objective of this study is to explore how archaeological discoveries can contribute to the development of tourism in a specific region and to identify the factors that influence this relationship. The research will be guided by a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The study will involve conducting surveys and interviews with key stakeholders in the region, including archaeologists, tourism officials, local communities, and tourists. Additionally, data will be collected from secondary sources such as academic articles, reports, and official documents related to archaeological sites and tourism development. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, background information on the study, a problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that explores the existing knowledge on the relationship between archaeological discoveries and tourism development. This chapter will examine the theories, concepts, and empirical studies related to the topic. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, discussing the impact of archaeological discoveries on tourism development in the selected region.
