Project Abstract

Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein worldwide. Broiler chickens, in particular, are a popular choice for meat production due to their rapid growth rate and high feed efficiency. The feeding strategies employed in broiler production have a significant impact on growth performance and ultimately influence the profitability of the enterprise. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted over a period of 12 weeks, during which broiler chickens were subjected to three different feeding strategies a control group fed a standard commercial diet, an experimental group fed a high-protein diet, and a second experimental group fed a diet supplemented with probiotics. Various growth parameters, including body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate, were measured and compared among the different groups. The results of the study revealed significant differences in growth performance among the three feeding strategies. Broilers fed the high-protein diet exhibited the highest body weight gain and the lowest feed conversion ratio, indicating improved growth efficiency compared to the control group. Meanwhile, the probiotics-supplemented group showed a lower mortality rate and improved overall health status, although growth performance was comparable to the control group. These findings suggest that implementing alternative feeding strategies, such as high-protein diets and probiotics supplementation, can positively impact the growth performance of broiler chickens. These strategies not only enhance growth efficiency but also contribute to the overall health and well-being of the birds. Consequently, adopting such feeding practices in commercial broiler production systems may lead to improved profitability and sustainability in the poultry industry. In conclusion, this research highlights the importance of selecting appropriate feeding strategies to optimize the growth performance of broiler chickens. The findings contribute valuable insights into the potential benefits of utilizing high-protein diets and probiotics supplementation in broiler production. Further studies are recommended to explore additional feeding strategies and their effects on broiler performance, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of poultry production systems.
