Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the impact of different feeding regimes on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein worldwide. However, optimizing broiler growth performance through feeding strategies is essential for sustainable production and profitability. The research focused on comparing the effects of various feeding regimes on key growth parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and overall health status of broiler chickens. The study was structured into five main chapters. Chapter One provided an introduction to the research topic, including the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two comprised an in-depth literature review covering ten key aspects related to broiler nutrition, growth, and feed management practices. The literature review highlighted existing knowledge gaps and informed the research methodology. Chapter Three detailed the research methodology, including the experimental design, sample selection, data collection methods, feeding regimes tested, and statistical analysis procedures. The study incorporated a randomized controlled trial design with a sample size of 200 broiler chickens divided into five treatment groups receiving different feeding regimes. Data on growth performance indicators were collected and analyzed to evaluate the impact of the feeding regimes on broiler chickens. Chapter Four presented the discussion of findings, analyzing the results obtained from the study. The growth performance data revealed significant differences among the various feeding regimes tested, indicating the influence of diet composition on broiler growth. Factors such as feed quality, nutrient content, and feeding frequency were found to affect body weight gain and feed efficiency in broiler chickens.
