Abstract
This research study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The study was motivated by the importance of optimizing feed management practices to enhance the growth and overall performance of broiler chickens, which are a significant source of animal protein for human consumption. The research was conducted over a period of six months, during which various feeding strategies were implemented and their impact on the growth parameters of broiler chickens was assessed. The research methodology involved the use of a randomized controlled trial design, with three different feeding strategies assigned to separate groups of broiler chickens. The feeding strategies included a standard commercial feed, a high-protein diet, and an organic feed formulation. Key growth performance indicators such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate were measured and recorded throughout the study period. The results of the study revealed significant differences in the growth performance of broiler chickens across the different feeding strategies. Broilers fed with the high-protein diet exhibited the highest body weight gain and the lowest feed conversion ratio, indicating improved growth efficiency compared to the other feeding groups. In contrast, broilers fed with the organic feed formulation showed comparable growth performance to those on the standard commercial feed. Furthermore, the study identified some limitations, including variations in feed intake among individual chickens and environmental factors that may have influenced the outcomes. Despite these limitations, the findings highlight the importance of feed quality and composition in optimizing the growth performance of broiler chickens. In conclusion, this research contributes to the existing body of knowledge on the impact of feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The results underscore the significance of selecting appropriate feed formulations to maximize growth efficiency and overall productivity in broiler production systems.
