Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the growing demand for animal protein worldwide. Enhancing the growth performance of broiler chickens is essential for efficient meat production. This research project aims to investigate the effects of different feed additives on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The study will focus on evaluating the impact of various additives, including probiotics, prebiotics, organic acids, enzymes, and herbal extracts, on key growth parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and overall health status of broiler chickens. The research will be conducted using a randomized controlled trial design, with different treatment groups receiving specific feed additives in their diet. A total of 300 broiler chickens will be divided into five treatment groups, each receiving a different feed additive, along with a control group receiving a standard diet. The study will be carried out over a period of 8 weeks, during which growth performance parameters will be monitored and recorded at regular intervals. The literature review section of the study will provide a comprehensive overview of previous research on the use of feed additives in poultry nutrition and their effects on growth performance. This review will highlight the potential mechanisms through which feed additives influence nutrient utilization, gut health, and overall performance in broiler chickens. The research methodology section will detail the experimental design, sample size calculation, data collection methods, and statistical analysis techniques employed in the study.
