Project Abstract

Abstract
The aim of this research study was to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The study was conducted to address the growing concern in the poultry industry regarding the optimization of feeding practices to enhance the growth and overall performance of broiler chickens. A total of 200 broiler chickens were randomly assigned to four different feeding groups, each receiving a distinct feeding strategy Control group (commercial feed), Group A (supplemented with probiotics), Group B (supplemented with prebiotics), and Group C (supplemented with a combination of probiotics and prebiotics). The feeding trial lasted for 8 weeks, during which various growth parameters were measured, including body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate. The findings of this study revealed significant differences in the growth performance of broiler chickens among the different feeding groups. Broilers in Group C, which received a combination of probiotics and prebiotics, exhibited the highest body weight gain and the most efficient feed conversion ratio compared to the other groups. Additionally, the mortality rate was lowest in Group C, indicating the potential health benefits of the combined supplementation of probiotics and prebiotics in broiler diets. These results suggest that incorporating a combination of probiotics and prebiotics in broiler chicken diets can positively impact growth performance and overall health outcomes. Furthermore, the study identified several factors that may influence the effectiveness of different feeding strategies on broiler growth performance, including age, genetics, environmental conditions, and management practices. The limitations of the study include the small sample size and the relatively short duration of the feeding trial. Future research could focus on conducting long-term studies with larger sample sizes to validate the findings of this study and explore additional factors that may influence the efficacy of different feeding strategies on broiler growth performance. In conclusion, the results of this research highlight the importance of optimizing feeding strategies to enhance the growth performance of broiler chickens. The incorporation of probiotics and prebiotics in broiler diets, either individually or in combination, can have positive effects on growth parameters and overall health outcomes. This study contributes valuable insights to the poultry industry and provides a foundation for further research in the field of animal nutrition and production.
