Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein worldwide. In this context, optimizing the growth performance of broiler chickens is of utmost importance to ensure efficient production and profitability. One approach to enhancing growth performance is through the use of dietary supplements. This research project aims to investigate the effect of dietary supplements on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The study will be conducted using a randomized controlled trial design, with a total of 200 broiler chickens allocated to four treatment groups. Each group will receive a different dietary supplement, including probiotics, vitamins, minerals, and herbal extracts. The growth performance of the chickens will be evaluated based on parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate. Chapter 2 of the research will provide a comprehensive literature review on the use of dietary supplements in poultry production. Previous studies have shown that dietary supplements can have positive effects on growth performance, immune function, and overall health of broiler chickens. However, the efficacy of different types of supplements and their optimal dosages remain areas of ongoing research. Chapter 3 will outline the research methodology, including details on the experimental design, sample size calculation, data collection procedures, and statistical analysis plan. Chapter 4 will present the findings of the study, highlighting the effects of different dietary supplements on the growth performance of broiler chickens.
