Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing global demand for animal protein. One of the key factors influencing the growth and development of broiler chickens is their feeding strategy. This research project aims to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth and development of broiler chickens. The study will be conducted using a randomized controlled trial design, where broiler chickens will be divided into different groups based on their feeding strategies. The feeding strategies to be evaluated will include conventional commercial feeds, organic feeds, and homemade feeds. Chapter one of the research will provide an introduction to the project, background information on the poultry industry, a statement of the problem, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. Chapter two will present a comprehensive literature review on the effects of different feeding strategies on broiler growth and development. Chapter three will outline the research methodology, including details on the sample population, data collection methods, feeding protocols, and statistical analysis techniques. The study will also consider factors such as feed composition, nutrient content, and feeding schedule. In chapter four, the findings of the research will be discussed in detail, including comparisons of growth rates, feed conversion ratios, and overall health indicators among the different feeding groups. The discussion will also explore any significant differences observed between the groups and potential implications for the poultry industry.
