Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing global demand for animal protein. Among poultry species, broiler chickens are extensively reared for meat production. The efficiency of broiler production depends significantly on the feeding regimens provided to the birds, which directly influence growth performance and nutrient utilization. This research project aimed to investigate the effect of different feeding regimens on these key parameters in broiler chickens. Chapter One of the study provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms. The literature review in Chapter Two presents a comprehensive analysis of previous studies related to feeding regimens, growth performance, and nutrient utilization in broiler chickens. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including details on the research design, sample selection, data collection methods, feeding regimens tested, growth performance measurements, and nutrient utilization analysis. The findings obtained from the research are discussed in Chapter Four, covering aspects such as the impact of different feeding regimens on growth rates, feed efficiency, nutrient digestibility, and overall performance of broiler chickens. The results indicate that feeding regimens significantly influence the growth performance and nutrient utilization of broiler chickens. Specific feeding strategies may lead to improved growth rates, better feed conversion ratios, and enhanced nutrient absorption in the birds. These findings have practical implications for poultry farmers seeking to optimize the production efficiency and profitability of broiler rearing operations.
