Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth and performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted over a period of 12 weeks, during which various feeding regimes were implemented and their impact on the growth parameters and performance of the broiler chickens were evaluated. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the study, outlining the background of the research, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definition of terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review on the topic, covering ten key areas related to broiler chicken feeding strategies and their effects on growth and performance. Chapter 3 details the research methodology, including the experimental design, sample size determination, data collection methods, statistical analysis techniques, ethical considerations, and potential limitations. The study utilized a randomized controlled trial approach, with different feeding strategies allocated to separate groups of broiler chickens to compare their growth and performance outcomes. In Chapter 4, the findings of the study are discussed in detail, focusing on seven key aspects such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, mortality rate, nutrient utilization, and overall health indicators. The results revealed significant differences in growth and performance metrics among the various feeding strategies tested, highlighting the importance of diet composition and feeding management in optimizing broiler chicken production. Chapter 5 presents the conclusion and summary of the research, summarizing the key findings, implications, and recommendations for future studies. The study concludes that the choice of feeding strategy has a significant impact on the growth and performance of broiler chickens, underscoring the importance of tailored nutrition programs to maximize productivity and welfare in poultry production systems.
