Abstract
The poultry industry is constantly seeking strategies to optimize production efficiency and ensure the welfare of broiler chickens. This study investigated the effects of various feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to assess the existing knowledge on broiler nutrition and growth parameters. The research methodology involved a randomized controlled trial where broiler chickens were subjected to different feeding strategies, including varying diets, feeding frequencies, and nutrient supplements. Growth performance indicators such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate were monitored throughout the study period. The results of the study revealed significant differences in growth performance among the various feeding strategies tested. Broiler chickens fed a high-protein diet exhibited the highest body weight gain, while those on a restricted feeding schedule showed improved feed conversion efficiency. Supplementing the diet with specific nutrients, such as probiotics and vitamins, also had a positive impact on growth parameters. However, some feeding strategies were associated with higher mortality rates, indicating potential risks to bird health. The discussion of findings highlighted the complex interplay between feeding strategies, nutrient composition, and growth performance in broiler chickens. Factors such as genetics, environmental conditions, and management practices were identified as additional variables influencing the outcomes of the study. The implications of the research findings for the poultry industry were discussed, emphasizing the importance of tailored feeding approaches to maximize growth potential while maintaining animal welfare standards. In conclusion, this study provides valuable insights into the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens.
