Abstract
The aim of this research study was to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. Broiler chickens are one of the most commonly raised poultry species for meat production worldwide, and optimizing their growth performance is crucial for the poultry industry. This study focused on comparing the growth performance of broiler chickens fed with different feeding strategies, including conventional feed, organic feed, and alternative feed sources. The research was conducted over a period of six months, during which a total of 300 broiler chickens were randomly assigned to three feeding groups conventional feed, organic feed, and alternative feed sources. The growth performance parameters measured included body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate. Additionally, blood samples were collected to analyze the impact of different feeding strategies on the health and nutritional status of the broiler chickens. The results of the study revealed significant differences in the growth performance of broiler chickens fed with different feeding strategies. Broiler chickens fed with organic feed showed the highest body weight gain and the lowest feed conversion ratio, indicating better growth performance compared to those fed with conventional feed and alternative feed sources. Moreover, the mortality rate was lower in the organic feed group, suggesting improved overall health and welfare of the broiler chickens. Analysis of the blood samples further supported the findings, showing differences in the nutritional profiles of the broiler chickens based on the feeding strategies. Broiler chickens fed with organic feed had higher levels of essential nutrients and lower levels of harmful additives compared to those fed with conventional feed and alternative feed sources. In conclusion, the results of this study demonstrate that the choice of feeding strategy significantly impacts the growth performance and health of broiler chickens. Feeding broiler chickens with organic feed resulted in superior growth performance and better overall health outcomes compared to conventional feed and alternative feed sources. These findings have important implications for the poultry industry in terms of optimizing production efficiency and promoting sustainable and healthy practices in broiler chicken farming. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term effects of different feeding strategies on broiler chicken production.
