Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the global demand for animal protein. In order to ensure optimal growth performance and productivity of poultry, the use of dietary supplements has gained significant attention in recent years. This research project aims to investigate the effects of dietary supplements on the growth performance of poultry, with a focus on key parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and overall health status. Chapter One of the study provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key items related to the use of dietary supplements in poultry production. The review synthesizes existing knowledge and identifies gaps in the literature that this study seeks to address. Chapter Three details the research methodology, outlining the research design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, experimental setup, statistical analysis plan, and ethical considerations. The chapter also discusses the selection criteria for dietary supplements and the specific parameters to be measured during the study. In Chapter Four, the findings of the research are presented and discussed in detail. The effects of different dietary supplements on the growth performance of poultry are analyzed, considering factors such as growth rate, feed efficiency, and overall health indicators. The chapter also examines any potential challenges or variations observed during the study and provides insights into the implications of the findings for the poultry industry. Finally, Chapter Five offers a conclusion and summary of the research project.
