Project Abstract

Abstract
Osteoporosis is a common condition among postmenopausal women characterized by a decrease in bone density and an increased risk of fractures. Exercise has been identified as a key factor in maintaining and improving bone health. This research project aims to investigate the effects of exercise on bone density in postmenopausal women. The study will focus on the impact of different types of exercise, frequency, and duration on bone density measurements in this specific population. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative bone density measurements with qualitative data on exercise habits and lifestyle factors. A sample of postmenopausal women aged 50-70 years will be recruited for the study. Participants will undergo bone density scans at the beginning and end of the study period to assess changes over time.
