Project Abstract

This project aims to investigate the opportunities and challenges associated with the adoption and implementation of precision agriculture (PA) technologies in smallholder farming systems. Smallholder farmers, who typically operate on small land holdings and have limited access to resources, face numerous challenges in achieving sustainable and efficient agricultural production. The integration of PA, which involves the use of advanced technologies such as GPS, remote sensing, and data analytics, has the potential to address these challenges and enhance the productivity, profitability, and environmental sustainability of smallholder farming.
