Project Abstract

<p><br>Farm profitability is a key factor determining the sustainability and growth of the agricultural sector. It is influenced by various factors including the choice of cropping systems. This study aims to model and analyze farm profitability under different cropping systems prevalent in [XYZ region]. Primary data on input and output parameters will be collected from 50 farms practicing major cropping patterns in the region. A linear programming model will be developed to maximize farm profits based on crop yields, input costs, market prices and other constraints. A sensitivity analysis will also be conducted to determine the impact of fluctuations in input and output prices on overall farm profits. The study findings will help farmers in the region to adopt profitable and resilient cropping systems.<br><br><br><br><br></p>
