Project Abstract

<p><br>Accurate estimation of crop water requirements is essential for efficient irrigation planning and management. However, crop water needs vary significantly depending on climatic factors like temperature, humidity, solar radiation, wind speed etc. The objective of this study is to develop crop water requirement models for different climatic zones in [location] using climate data from various meteorological stations. Daily reference evapotranspiration will be calculated using the FAO Penman-Monteith method. Crop coefficients for major crops will be determined through field experiments. Models will be developed relating climatic variables to crop water use. The developed models can help farmers schedule irrigation more precisely according to local climate conditions.<br><br><br></p>
