This research project aims to explore the potential of utilizing mobile technology to enhance farmer training and extension services in rural communities. The agricultural sector plays a crucial role in the economic development of many countries, particularly in rural areas where farming is a primary source of livelihood. However, farmers in these communities often face challenges accessing up-to-date information, training resources, and extension services that are essential for improving agricultural practices and increasing productivity. This study seeks to address these challenges by leveraging the widespread use of mobile technology to deliver relevant and timely agricultural information and services to farmers. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of existing literature on the use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services, highlighting the benefits, challenges, and best practices identified in previous studies. This literature review will provide a solid foundation for understanding the current state of mobile technology adoption in the agricultural sector and the potential impact it can have on farmer training and extension services. The methodology chapter will outline the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed in this study. A mixed-methods approach will be used, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to gather insights from farmers, extension workers, and other stakeholders involved in agricultural training and extension services.
