The rapid advancement of mobile technology presents a valuable opportunity to enhance agricultural extension services in rural communities. This research project aims to investigate the potential benefits and challenges of utilizing mobile technology to improve access to information, training, and resources for farmers in remote areas. The study will focus on understanding the current state of agricultural extension services in rural communities, identifying the key issues and limitations faced by farmers, and exploring how mobile technology can be effectively leveraged to address these challenges. The research will be guided by a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to gather insights from farmers, agricultural extension workers, and technology experts. A comprehensive literature review will provide a theoretical framework to contextualize the study within the broader field of agricultural extension and mobile technology. The data will be analyzed using thematic analysis to identify common themes and patterns related to the use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on the role of mobile technology in agricultural development and extension services. The results will offer practical recommendations for policymakers, extension workers, and technology developers on how to effectively integrate mobile technology into existing agricultural extension programs.
