The rapid advancement of digital technologies has revolutionized various sectors, including agricultural extension services. This research project aims to assess the impact of digital technologies on knowledge transfer within agricultural extension services, with a focus on enhancing information dissemination, training methods, and overall efficiency. The study will delve into the current state of agricultural extension services, highlighting the challenges faced in knowledge transfer and the potential benefits of integrating digital technologies. The research will be guided by a comprehensive literature review that explores existing studies on digital technologies in agricultural extension services. This review will provide insights into the various applications of digital tools, such as mobile applications, online platforms, and data analytics, in facilitating knowledge transfer among farmers, extension workers, and other stakeholders. The review will also identify gaps in the literature and lay the foundation for the research methodology. The methodology for this study will involve a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with key stakeholders in agricultural extension services. The survey will gather data on the current usage of digital technologies, perceived benefits, challenges, and barriers to adoption. The interviews will provide in-depth perspectives on the experiences, attitudes, and recommendations of extension workers, farmers, and policymakers regarding digital technologies in knowledge transfer. The findings of this research project will be presented and discussed in Chapter Four, providing a detailed analysis of the impact of digital technologies on knowledge transfer in agricultural extension services. The discussion will explore the key themes that emerged from the data, including the effectiveness of digital tools in reaching target audiences, improving communication, and enhancing learning outcomes. The findings will also highlight the challenges faced in implementing digital technologies and provide recommendations for overcoming these obstacles. In conclusion, this research project aims to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on the role of digital technologies in agricultural extension services.
