Assessing the Impact of Digital Technologies on Agricultural Extension Services Abstract
The integration of digital technologies into agricultural extension services has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential to revolutionize information dissemination, knowledge sharing, and decision-making processes in the agricultural sector. This research project aims to assess the impact of digital technologies on agricultural extension services, focusing on their effectiveness, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. The study begins with an introductory chapter that provides a background to the research topic, presents the problem statement, outlines the objectives, discusses the limitations and scope of the study, highlights its significance, and defines key terms. Chapter Two comprises a comprehensive literature review that explores ten key areas related to digital technologies in agricultural extension services. This includes examining the evolution of digital technologies in agriculture, their benefits and limitations, the role of extension services, best practices, case studies, and current trends in the field. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study. It covers eight main components, such as research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the methodology. Chapter Four presents the detailed findings of the research, based on the data collected and analyzed.
